Did you see if there's a bad spot where the blue wire splits off in two to each light?

Definitely not grounding that wire... I can't inspect it until next Thursday, so I'll probably dig into that before taking it in. Thinking I'll trace it though my spare harness and see where all it goes.

+1 A lot of manufacturers do that. Added auto rear view mirror and heated side mirrors to my Jeep, all harness's were already there.
Oh, and I believe the fog lights are always hot, using a switched ground. Seems weird to do it that way, but whatever. I'll get around to putting some on mine one day, searching for the perfect light.(read: good and cheap)

Hey I'm not complaining, makes adding things easier. If I was producing cars I would use one harness for all the trim levels. That way you wouldn't need to have different harnesses and would also eliminate human error if not putting the right one in.
