Default Another battery problem

Sorry for the double post today but the Problem Child has returned 🙄 so I’m on my second brand new battery, and I tried a new starter but returned it because that didn’t help anything, same problem.....so new battery, new starter, all but one ground is connected (to the valve cover).

ill go take it to the car wash and when I go back to turn it over, it clicks, and it’ll just click for thirty minutes to an hour, then it’ll finally turn over. And if I had exhausted the battery from trying too often to get it to start then I have to get it jumped....so, what do you think the problem would be? I was told alternator, but it doesn’t die while driving, and it WILL eventually turn over, after letting it sit.

does anybody know what this could be because I have no flipping clue and it’s kinda embarrassing when you’re on a date 😂

Swap the starter relay with the another one. (horn?) See if the problem goes away.

Sounds like a connection problem somewhere. Clean the battery terminals and ground connections.

It was the ground on the back of the block, I feel stupid. Thank you though.
