Solid Steel makes an adjustable 3rd gen style track bar with poly bushings on each end. Its an excellent, well made bar and I run it with no issues at all. I'm not a fan of heim joints for regular use.

There is a used setup on ebay right now.... that bracket looks a little familiar. Although one end of the bar looks adjustable...

I'm tempted to go back to the jyard with my battery reciprocating saw and take the 3rd gen bracket and part of the frame. The real trick is, how to get a homemade bracket it in the right position on the frame to make sure the axle is in the right place.... that, and enough free time to mess with something optional like that, is what is stopping me.

That one has a heim joint at the axle end, and a bushing on the frame side. Compromise between rigidity, and ride quality. (joints tend to transmit EVERY shock and wiggle to the frame.) Be interesting to see how long the joint lasts. I do believe they are at least rebuildable.
