I just bought a 1994 Ram 1500 5.9l 4wd 2 days ago and I was looking underneath and found this mysterious hose hanging down by the transmission that I can seem to find where it is suppose to go. And my google-foo is failing me.Would anyone know?
Other end I do believe goes to the transfer case. (I will double check when I get out of work) Where would it bolt up if that is the case?

Just somewhere up out of the way. The higher the better. (so it doesn't suck in water, if you get too deep. ) Looks like it has a bracket that bolts somewhere.... no idea where though.
