Speedometer not working and no o/d gear
So i have a 98 dodge 1500 with a 5.2L V8 that i just bought. the transmission was out of it when i bought it i pulled it out and it was a 96 46re (064-5) transmission i found a junkyard transmission for 500 bucks its a 2000 46re (064-9) and i slapped it in and it works but now my speedometer doesnt work and my o/d off light comes on and i cant turn it off but its not on all the time it goes away by itself and the abs light turns on and off with it but when they arent on my check engine light cones on i am very confused and could use some help thank you.

Two separate problems.
First: You have an electronics mismatch. The internal electronics in the trans changed in 2000. The temp/pressure sensor is sending signals the PCM does not understand, that's why O/D is not working, and the trans temp light should be on as well. Need to change them out for the correct for your year sensors. Keep in mind, connectors changed as well, so, you may have to change ALL the electronics in the trans. Retainer for the governor stuff is different as well, you can pull the correct one out of the other trans.
Second: Rear wheel speed sensor or circuit is failing. That's where the PCM gets its clue for vehicle speed, and what the ABS system uses as well. If the signal ain't what the PCM expects to see, you get codes, and the ABS system gets annoyed.
