Default 46RE torque converter

Where does everybody get the 5.9 magnum torque converter for the 46RE trans??? I tried Napa, they said they have 0 available in the country. Everybody else says call for availability (AutoZone, O'Riley's, advanced). I am just blown away, how can that be when there are literally thousands of these on the road. It must be for a 96 and newer. I need a neutral balance TC, so I can get this engine swap finished. Just sucks I'm this close, and Bam just fell flat on my face.

318 converter would work as well. Talk to some of the aftermarket companies, summit, jegs, etc.

I'll give jegs a try. Summit are all call for availability also. I found some on eBay, but they are cheap, cheap, cheap. I found one place, it's about $320 for a new one, and I think they make them by order. I'm just hitting wall after wall with this thing, lol.

Having one custom made will likely get you a MUCH higher quality converter than the 80 dollar fellers from the parts store.

I'm really thinking that $300 one, its good for 450hp, comes neutral balanced, and with the 90 degree bolt pattern unless I specify otherwise. And I can go up to 2800 stall for the same price. It seems like a pretty good deal. Summit and jegs have nothing less than $475 and they have three different spline counts (23,24,26), and they are all balanced. They don't go into specifics whether they are neutral balanced, or engine balanced lol. And for
$650 I can get one good for 600 hp, all billet internals. For 95 and newer only, with both bolt patterns. Also neutral balanced. Torque converter shop.com found it on Google. Must be partners with American hot rod Solutions.
