95 ram 1500 5.9L Low beam problems

Default 95 ram 1500 5.9L Low beam problems

Melted the connector. And switch .For the head lights. Replaced both . driver side low beam dosent come on but passenger side does. Both light work with hi beams. Removed cover and checked purple wire to the steering column seems fine. any help would be appreciated

Check for power at the light connector on the low beam wire. If you are getting power there it's the bulb

They are both power via the same wire, so, if one works, you are getting power. Verify power on the violet/white wire on the driver side, if you actually have power there, replace the headlamp.
