I hit the overdrive off button when going up hill then a couple seconds later I hit the brakes because it didn't slow me down as much as I thought it would before the turn, confused the PCM and got a code.
It happened again a few years later when I was going up a long hill and had the go pedal in the sweet spot where it wanted to kick out of overdrive but I didn't push it the extra millimeter it needed to do it. I was floating the pedal in that spot and backing off of it just enough to keep it in overdrive.
