I have been asked this question ever since I got my exhaust on. Wich one is better Flowmaster or Magnaflow I cant give a answer but I love my super 40. So I just want to know what you guys think about the two.

 

I had a magnaflow installed yesterday....If you want a nice sound Go with the mags if you want a loudass truck go with the masters.

I love my flowmaster. I got the 40 series and I couldnt imagine driving the truck without it. Its awesome.

Zeek is that the super 40 or is it just the regular 40 series.

 

Its not the super 40 - it the reg 40 - but I cant see how it could sound any better

 

I pulled the Flowmaster 40 off my 5.9 after only 5months. I hated the sound. WOT it was a raspy hollow quality that gave me a headache (literally) Droned on the highway.
Magnaflow 3" h/f cat and 3" glasspack a big improvement in tone and sound at both idle and WOT. I dont have a recent sound file but last time at the dragstip the wife got a few of my passes on video, this pass she was on the exhaust side right by the wall so you get a pretty good idea of what it sounds like.
