I have a 1995 v10 magnum that i am in the process of restoring and it has a cut wire on top of the engine. if anyone can help me figure out what it is, it would be greatly appreciated.

intake air temp sensor? How many wires going to it, and what color?

Grab a service manual for your truck from here. Wiring diagrams are in section 8W. (along with component locations. )

Default Start removing and splicing

Thats the map sensor and cheap and time way is to soldier it and just keep the wire matching. Had the same issue with the truck i inherited, always use the same gauge wires.
