If you have the 7500# calipers the 8800# rotors should work fine? I'm using 8800# calipers and pads with 1500 series 5-bolt d44 rotors on my ram 1500 truck (ca. 5500#) and with d60 7500 8-bolt rotors on my ram frankenvan (ca. 8000#) In both cases they fit right up and work fantastic... On the van, getting rid of all the rubber flex hoses on the for steel braided made at the local hydraulic shop and upgrading the rear caliper pistons coudln't have hurt. It stops really well for such a tank...

I never said it was factory. I merely gave the information about the difference between 7500 and 8800 rotors. 24 year old truck, who knows what has been done to it, and as it was stated by the op, someone throw in brakes that were within reach.
