I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.9, other day went out to start and it wouldnt turn over or do anything so i checked the fuses and the solonoid fuse had burnt out. Remembered this issue with my old truck and threw in the trusty 25 amp and then found out my starter was actually dead. Long story short bought new starter and in process of replacing the stupid brittle peice of **** plastic busted off the harness. I got it in enough to start the truck and get it home but i dont wanna drive around and have it come out again. Ive looked everywhere for this plug. Ive tried my pick and pull and all my local stores including summit and nothing. And online it looks like its a ghost item and cannot be found.
