I’m trying to do a 4th gen Hemi 5.7 swap on my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500.

It's not an easy task, I am doing it and have everything needed. I'm building the Hemi to make 750hp that is what is holding me back

You need a good bit from the Hemi (pedal assembly, transmission, computer along with your factory computer, engine, all the harnesses). Now if you want plug an play there is a kit with everything needed (comes with new computer and pedal no engine or transmission) for about $4500. Now if you want to do it yourself you are in over your head of you don't know how CCD+ and CANBUS systems work and basic electrical needs (such as soldering). I did it myself and it took me about 1 week in total time just to get it to run and use my factory gauge cluster.

Well if you buy the kit minus what you don't need, so just the plug and play harness you are into $1200. Now if you want to do it yourself start reading up on the CCD+ system (which is in your 96) and the CANBUS (which is in the Hemi truck) and splice into both engine harness to make one. Basically you'll use your 96 computer as a piggyback for the gauges that's about it.

Will be fine but to get it 100% level you have to grind away about 1/4 off the passenger side mount
