Default 46re with a 3.8 lever adjustment

Just rebuilt my 46re.Has a transgo shift kit, stock servo and switched to a 3.8 lever. has a very slight bind up from 2nd to third. my question is how many turns out. The directions on the lever said 1 7/8 turn. the original was 2 7/8. thanks for any help.

Our one-time-resident trans guru suggested 2 turns out for both bands on the 46RE, but, that was with the stock levers....... You could try backing it out another quarter turn, and see if that helps at all.

I have a 4.8 in mine and went with 2 1/4 turns.

Thanks. 2 turns out seemed to calm it down. I remember the stock levers but never tried different combos. We adjusted them on the assembly line a little different.
