I read somewhere once that a common problem was the doors not locking and/or latching when you close them. Well, my truck sat for a little and it got cold and since then my drivers door won't lock and usually takes a few tries to latch when I close it. The passenger door locks no problem but I did have a problem once trying to get it to latch. I did lube the drivers side once thinking maybe it just got sticky after getting cold and not being opened but that did nothing. I've got lock deicer but haven't bothered with it yet cause it seems more like the problem is the little arm/hook whatever thing isn't going around the door pin. So basically, what do I try next or should I just replace the latches?

 

Look at your hinges, If they are worn it causes the door to drop down and that causes the issues.
