Thats a hard question. I did the CAI from k&n and I got it off ebay at a far lower price than summitracing.com. Im doing the reprogramming of the engine next and then Im going to do the Throttlebody. After the throttlebody Im going for roller rockers and I hope the long tube headers are finally out. After the headers Im doing a 5 inch lift and putting on 35's or larger and regearing the front and rear. Kind of a shame to make all the extra power and then lose it again with crappy areodynamics and large tires. Anyhow I guess it would depend on your skill level. The CAI is pretty easy but remember your going to have to take everything off for the Throttlebody. I guess if I could do it again I would save the money and replace both the Throttlebody and the CAI at the same time. You will like the tone you get from the CAI. My friend was on a motorcycle last month and at the stop light we both took off. He told me the truck sounded real good under hard accleration. The air rushing through the intake is louder than the stock one. That and the flowmaster 40 makes for a great dual sound when your hitting it hard. Anyhow good luck to you and tell us how it turns out.

Personally, I'd do the Mopar PCM (or Hypertech kit) first. Then the TB/Intake at the same time like zeek mentioned.

Cold air kit will add about the same amount of performance as the pcm but cost a bit less and you could see a mileage increase(highway more so) if you dont have your foot in it all the time.
The MP PCM requires running premium fuel and will cost the most of the 3 mods in price and operating costs
52mm tb will give the least amount of performance gains (still worth it though) and is the cheapest to purchase (if you go Fastman)

If it was me, I would go with the CAI, then TB and lastly the PCM to bring it all together [sm=icon_rock.gif]

RM_Indy - After the CAI, TB and PCM, considering you already have a great exhaust setup, what other mods would you suggest next? What do you think of the Hughes ported kegger intakes? Do you think they are worth the trouble w/o cam/head work?

I disagree with you on this, performance wise, the 52 MM fastman gave me the best performance gains, throttle response was different, shifting was smoother, and acceleration was greatly changed. You can see the difference with the 52 MM right after startup, huge difference, then I added a CAI a month later, other than the sound, no noticable changes. I stopped modding after I added the TB because i figure unless I do intake and heads, nothing is really gonna unlock that magical horsepower everyone looks for.

I also disagree.. the 52mm was an excellent upgrade (for the 360). I think however if your going from a stock TB on a heavily modded motor you might not see much of a difference because of all the upgrades. IMO anyway....

As for the original poster... get a CAI, then pcm, then TB... Also, can you update your signature to include details on your truck? helps out alot. some mods may not make sense and w/o knowing your truck we could steer you in a wrong direction...

Check out the S&B CAI. I got mine from Maddog Racing, it is fully inclosed and they have some huge filters to open air flow even more. S&B will save your wallet a little too. Easy install, I saw it on the Trucks TV show. I think sombody on here selles them also.
