Default 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.2

Truck will not turn over cranking getting fuel getting spark mechanic at work thinks not enough spark out of distributor new cap and rotor last year new coil 2 weeks ago could it be the distributor itself

^^ This, plus if the battery is defective, dead, bad cell, etc, putting it on a charger won't help.

If you are getting spark, and fuel, the likely problem is either too much, or not enough, of spark, or fuel. Are you getting a nice fat spark that snaps when you crank the motor? Are the plugs wet? Any codes?

No codes. Mechanic’s in-line spark tester didn’t show really bright that I saw
