But you have a big drum that is what did did as a standard. I personally like dual piston calipers. I would love to upgrade to 4 piston

For the Dana 60 Ram 2500 disc brake rear used on late 2nd gen trucks, the factory caliper is dual piston.

Yeah, but they also have those huge two-piston front calipers as well.

That rear diff won't have the provision for the rear wheel speed sensor. That, and finding something in the yard from the 70's would be a lot like finding the Lost Ark...... They just aren't around any more. Will the parts from the Imperial bolt to the truck rear diff?


What i meant was the brake set up not the complete rear. It bolts to the axle with the same bolt locations as the backing plate. I think they are longer though if i recall. I took them off to put them on a drum brake 9 1/4 that i had(not going in a truck). Not sure what diameter the disc's are they may be smaller than what's on the trucks, I will have to check. As far as i know the entire production run the 9 1/4 didn't change that much except width's, spring perch locations and the sensors in the newer ones.
