Default Transmission issues

Hi all! I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 2wd. Replaced the tranny and Tc Everything's back together and it won't shift into any gear. (From the shifter or underneath. I'm getting too old for this, lol. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone.

Fluid full? Keep in mind, you have to check it in Neutral.

Thank you for the response. Put in 8 qts of fluid, registers "ok" on the dipper. It won't shift into park either. Locked up in neutral.......

Where did you get the trans from??

8 quarts ain't enough. That's is somewhat less than two-thirds of capacity. Problem is, park is purely mechanical. So, if it won't go into park, there is an internal problem with the trans?
