Default No oil pressure

I have a new motor with less than 300 miles on it but have no real power. The engine is a 5.9 gas. Also new trans with same milage. Was watching my oil pressure gauge and saw that it stays below 40 psi. When I give it gas it does not pick up speed untill the psi reaches about 60-65 psi any ideas

Oil pressure is going to be RPM dependent, I don't think that is the cause of your issue.

How many miles on the engine sensors? Particularly the O2 sensors. If they were replaced, what brand? What about the cat? Fuel pump?? Lots of stuff can cause power loss...... Unfortunately, the list is rather long.

Is this on a 98?
