That doesn't look anything like mine. I guess I cant really speak for the 1500, but the mounting holes in your truck look the same as mine.

The posts farthest from the windshield look like they have been broken... I'm sure there used to be those things that make a 90 angle

Found this picture. The red circles are the metal tabs (you can buy them) they go into the "T" holes and the blue checked are the two screws that go in by the rearview mirror

Thank you for the picture, and it just looks like something is missing. I'll keep messing with it.
