Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L V8
I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 v8 5.9L Truck ran fine reverse went out sent to garage came back and now it won’t stay running. It backfires.when you get it to start and of give gas it’ll just crack and pop.

Did you have the trans rebuilt? Wonder if the garage that did the work forgot about the crank sensor....... It is frequently a victim of trans work.
