Tranny Help
OK gang. I don't post often, only when I got a major problem and need back up on my problem solving. LOL
1999 1500 4x4 5.9 auto. Started yesterday and surprised me as she has been running sooooo good since engine swap.
So she didn't want to get up and go from a stop. Acted like low on fluid, so checked and was good. So going through my old memory bank brain I dropped the shift lever to first and off we went. Got going and up to D and shifted like it should. I look down and have check engine light!!!! WTH? Read code and the ole 1757 came up. Cleared it and thought maybe a gremlin. Later the dame thing.
So I think since manually shifting with the shift lever it works fine, well do need to adjust bands, I am leaning towards the Governor solenoid.
So all you know it all's, I mean that in a good way, Lets get your 2 cents in here to see if I am on the right track or way off track.
Ya all was a super help when did engine swap so I come to the people that have turned the wrenches on these things.
Thanks in advance for any and all info.

Loose connection??? I was ready to manul shift for the next couple days but I guess will drive it till issue presents itself again.
The reason for the test I mentioned is to see if it's an electronic issue or mechanical
