Default Need help with gearing ratio on Dodge ram 1500

Hey, I’ve got a 96 Dodge ram 1500 4 x 4. I recently lifted in about 3 1/2 inches and I found a great deal on a set a 37 inch tires. I plan on using this truck as a daily driver, would I need to re-gear this truck to run
the bigger tires? If so what gear ratio should I go with. I was thinking about 5.13s but I am not sure since this is my first truck. Thanks for any help

5.13s are kind of high if you do highway driving. 4.56s might work a little better. 37s will eat wheel bearings and axle joints, ball joints, and tie rods on most 1500s

I think 4.88's are the highest you can find for the corporate axle. That said, 4.56 would likely be pretty good.
