Nope, look again. There's a huge seam in the case 2/3rds the way back from the flywheel. Has to be there to even build it. This is not an auto where parts are dropped in from the front.

Ok, so if I were to just get that part from a junk yard I should be good? Would it matter if it was 2wd or 4x4 in that case?

The rear half is different but the front with bell looks the same. Call these people to verify:

You'll still have to completely disassemble it and rebuild it yourself or pay a couple grand for someone to do it. Or you can get a brand new one for $1500 from the above link.

Thats way out of my price range at the moment. Ive only got about 600 to work with.

Just get the whole trans from a junk yard and swap it then. Any labor for a rebuild will be more than your budget.
