Hello everyone, I have problems in the windows of my Dodge Ram 1500 1995. I touched both controls of the windows of the driver and the passenger at the same time and now they stopped working.
Check the fuses and wiring, even with a voltmeter and good voltage to the motors. Can someone give me an idea that I can check more?

 

The motors have built in circuit breakers. Turn the ignition off, wait ten minutes, start the truck back up, and see if they wanna work. If you are getting power/ground to the motors, motor is bad.

 

I plugged in the battery for a while, then operated the passenger window only for a single try. then it still does not work Do you think it's the motor?

 

It's pretty rare for two motors to fail at the same time...... I would more suspect that they are getting stiff/weak, and the current draw trying to move two windows at once, popped the main breaker in the fuse box. (which should automatically reset......)
