Question multiple fuses blowing

i have a 99 ram ext cab 318 2wd. i'm having a problem with 2 fuses blowing. if i turn on my radio and back light on my cluster gauge the amp for both my radio and car charger port blow. what's interesting is i can use my radio and backlight if i play via aux on bluetooth or cord and i can use cd's, but the second i turn on live radio with the back light on they blow.
i have two 10" kicker subs and an aftermarket radio. i don't recall having subs on or off making a difference.
any advise on what could be the problem would be greatly appreciated.
thank you for your time.

this is one the 20 amp fuses that was just replaced and blew

Is the radio stock or aftermarket?

Did you use a harness or splice wiring?

subs and radio were installed by someone else. they purchased all new wiring to install radio and from what i remember it was a harness.

First I I would pull radio and check wiring connections of the harness and see if there are any breaks or shorts I would trace the power wires for shorts leading in to radio , also could be internal short in radio when powered for live for radio or the you said back-light for dash cluster is also in the loop

As soon as I get a chance I’m going to start checking that and I’ll post an update.
Thank you

So apparently they did a REALLY crappy job when they put the subs and radio in. Three of the wires from the dodge wiring were exposed and touching metal. They did as poor of a job splicing the wires as they did taping it, not to mention they spliced on a 3rd wire between the harness and dodge wires for no apparent reason.

this fix was: trimming the copper ends, adding quality connectors between the dodge wires and radio harness, removing the third random wire, and taping the ends of the three exposed wires. No more fuses blowing.

thanks to everyone for their help and suggestions. I will include before and after pictures as well for anyone to see in case they have the same issue.
