Looking for a nice sounding semi aggressive exhaust for my 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 V8 Magnum Single cab long box. I dont want anything poppy, I'd like it to have more of a growl. What do you guys have on your trucks and/or what do you recommend.

Check youtube for videos of various systems. They will give you a good idea of what sounds "good".

Flowmaster series 40 here. Had it on since September and haven't grown tired of the growl at all.

 

I had a 40 series on my 05 2500 with the 5.7. was always getting compliments on how good it sounded.

 

I decided to upgrade my exhaust system a few years ago to 3" from the converter on back, as I'm already running JBA coated shorty headers. I'm using the following muffler and converter:
Dynomax UltraFlo Welded Muffler - 17233 (3" inlet and outlet) and Magnaflow Converter - 99047HM (dual 2" inlets, 3" outlet, front O2 sensor port)

This system works well. The muffler flows well and the sound is pretty quiet until the motor revs to about 2500 rpm and above.

 

Mines Pacesetter longtubes, 3" duals with 2.5" H-pipe, 24" glasspack on each bank, 14" Magnaflow knockoff on each bank and 2.5" tailpipes after the mufflers. Mellow enough around town with good even sound, screams under throttle but not like a redneck with straight pipes.
