Default Steering problem

So this started about a month ago after I took off my front wheels to paint them. When I put them back on and went to drive it the next day that is when I noticed that when I turn my steering wheel seemed little harder to turn but the steering wheel liked moved back and forth like it wanted to go straight instead of a smooth rotation when turning. So I re-balanced the front wheels and the problem went away till yesterday it came back. I've checked the power steering fluid, it could use a change down the road but it wasn't low either. Any Ideas?

Sounds like something might be binding. I would take a look at the steering column and box.

Default no turning at low speed

When turning into a parking lot or parking space, I have no turning unless I rev it up. When backing my trailer it seems to lug. I am also having an issue with front u joint, it fell out while driving down the road and bought a new one put it in and it falls out, are there flanged u joints for my 1997 dodge 2500 cummins, it is the front diff u joint
Also how do I turn my idle up. I bought the truck a month or so ago and put it right in the shop to do some body work and wiring, just started driving it a few weeks ago and started haivng these problems. She has 215k miles runs like a top but was used as a farm truck and now I baby it and it needs to be my daily driver as well as my rodeo towing rig.
Please help

That was as calm as it could be. You should read the rules being a first time. It will provide a litter of helpful information. Welcome to the forums.

Alright I will look at the steering column. Anything in particular I should look for?

If you can get somebody to help have them turn the wheel and see if you see anything binding.
