Default 1998 dodge with no drive power

I have a 1998 dodge ram 1500
5.2 l v8 5 speed
I was driving and couldnt get it above 60km and parked it for a day
Went to move it and it wouldnt drive under 2 wheel and would barely move under 4 high or low

It has a new slave and master cylinder for the clutch put in 2 months ago.
Still shifts not a problem
Any ideas on what it could be

What do you mean by lack of power? Does the engine rev high, but the clutch slips?

Idk how high it revs because I dont have an rpm guage but its definitely reving up but the truck wont drive forward or in reverse unless it's in 4 high and that's barely moving to the point I can walk faster

Well, that means one of these three things:

1: The clutch plate needs replaced (likely)
2. The pressure plate needs replaced (still likely)
3: The slave is not installed (adjusted?) correctly, and is partially releasing the pressure plate.

I'm not sure how the clutch slave cylinder is situated on a Ram, but I suspect it's just installed. If there is an adjustment, it could be too tight. Either way, I'd guess it
s time for a new clutch and pressure plate. About $100 bucks on Rockauto. But, before you spend any money, check and see if the slave cylinder is too tight.

I already have a new clutch and pressure plate and fly wheel that I bought from when the master cylinder went so I'm lucky there

But I'll check the slave cylinder first but it doesnt have an issue shifting so your probably right with the clutch
Thank you

That'll be the next fun step
