Default P0783 - 3-4 Shift Malfunction
My check engine light came on my 1999 RAM and I got the code P0783. I have read here that others say it was their shift solenoid, not sure where that is. Dropped it off at the dealership and it will be tomorrow before I know anything - all they said is that they think it is an internal problem.

Any thought?

Sounds like a solenoid to me.
