Default Left signal and wipers 98 Ram 1500 Larime

When I activate my left turn signal the wipers go on . When the signal turns off the wipers cycle 4 times and turn off. I replaced the multi purpose switch but the problem remains. I checked the harnesses for a short but found none. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

update: tonight I sounded my horn and it activated the wipers.

Need to look at the wiring harnesses in the column. If you have tilt wheel, moving the column up/down tends to pull the wires out of their respective connectors, and can lead to all sorts of odd behavior. Gotta be a problem in the column somewhere.

Mine was a wire grounding out by the left turn signal socket
