Best manual transmissions for 318-5.2l magnum? Or bigger
I'm doing a budget build on my 96 ram 1500. I'm trying to rat rod it after the auto trans goes. I'm looking for a common and reliable transmission that I can just hookup and go. I might go a bigger motor when the time comes so I'm taking that into consideration. Any ideas?

NV4500. 5 speed that actually came behind the magnum V-8's. 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. Half tons got the NV3500, but, it only came behind the 5.2liter engines. If you plan on building a meaner motor, the 4500 is the hot ticket.
