Smile Cruise Control quit after hyd hose blew out.

I bought a 2000 dodge ram 1500. When I got it the cruise control worked. But the truck had a few problems. First the front casters and calipers were worn out. I replace all of them and got the breaks working correctly. Then the air conditioning relay went out and had to remove the fuse box and rewire the relay leads(connectors had been pushed down breaking the plastic locks that hold them in). The power steering hose blew and oiled the engine down and that is when the cruise control quit. The cruise light comes on indicating the powertrain control module is working. But when you press the set or resume button nothing happens. I have been reading about this in the manual and it seems there is a lot to it. I was hoping someone could give me the most likely causes so troubleshooting would be faster. Also I had a a service engine light on and there was 4 error code. I had the auto place reset them. The codes had to do with the A/C relay, A low pressure in the A/C System, Torque converter clutch error, and a transmission overdrive error. I drove the vehicle a while and no codes came back. The cruise still did not work. The break lights work correctly so brake light switch appears to be ok. Not sure about the break pressure switch yet. The automatic braking system appears to be working correct at least there is no ABS light on.

Any Help would be most appreciated. Thank you

Check the vac line going to the servo under the battery.

Thank very you much just check it found the hard plastic line broke inside the sleeve that covers it and the electrical going to the servo. I will eventually get a new vac line but made a coupling out of a rubber hose for now. Tested the Speed control and works correctly now. This must have happened when the hydraulic line was replaced.
