Default 47re diagnosing

Ok so I bought the truck and drives it for 4 hours with overdrive returned home had lift kit installed and fixed leaking water pump now it will no longer go in overdrive I’ve replaced the overdrive and tc solenoid I’ve checked all the wiring I hooked the volt meter to pin six and when I hit 40 mph it drops from a steady 12v to 0v I purchased a auto trans pressure kit installed it above the rear cooler line on drivers side when I hit 40 mph it reads 0psi from what I’m told if it has psi and does not shift it’s a bad overdrive unit but if it does not have psi it’s something electrical. Just looking for a direction of what it could be. Thank you for your time.

How are you testing? I suspect that if you have one probe in the wire, and another to ground, the circuit itself has less resistance, so the meter doesn't pass any voltage. Might try wiring a bulb, or LED, in line with the circuit, and see what happens.

But, apparently, everything is doing what it should, except the O/D solenoid..... Might try checking resistance across the solenoid as well.

Right now I’m splicing into pin #6 and running the voltmeter into the cab connecting the ground to some of the bare metal in the fuse box. When I hit 40 it commands od and I see the volt meter drop to 0 volts from 12 volts-brand new od and tc solenoid I checked the pressure while driving on the od clutch test port and it never gained any pressure

Wouldn't be the first time I saw a bad part, right out of the box...... So, either the solenoid is bad, or something is jammed up in the throttle body.

Your latest test method doesn't get around the 'path of least resistance' issue though..... need to put your meter in line with the circuit.

So probably pull the valve body and order a shift kit and rebuild it

Wouldn't hurt to at least pull it, and have a look. Maybe test the o/d solenoid.

Tested the od solenoid I pulled out and it was still good

Then it has to be an internal problem with the trans...... Drop the valve body, clean it out, see what you find.
