Default Spark Plug Mystery

I have a 99 Ram 1500 5.9L. I was changing the spark plugs today without issue until this happened. I think the metal contact in the wire broke off and stuck to the end of the plug. I had to fish the socket out of there and this little metal piece was inside. If so I’m guessing time to replace my wires. Please help so I can get my truck running for work!!
