I have a 97 ram 1500.I just got a meyers plow setup. I need to get the peice that bolts to the frame. I priced it new @ 517$$ Anyone know where to get one used or cheaper?

 

You can try plowsite.com and see if you can find one. I have a '97 Dodge Ram 2500 w/a meyers 8' plow on it. Where are you located and what exactly are you looking ? I have had mine for a couple of years but I just called yesterday for a new mount to bolt up to my truck and they quoted me $250.00 brand new. That was a local dealer here close to me. Let me know what you need and I will try and get you more info.

What series plow do you have? In otherwords what hookup? Meyer has changed a few times over the years. There were some on ebay (for different setups) a few days back but they have since ended.

 

Its a ez connect? It has the two tubes in the front that the headlights slide into(which I cant get apart). It already has the rigging for a 2500 ram I think. its to wide for inbetween the frame rails of my truck, so i need the part that actualy hooks up to the frame of my truck. Thanks alot for the help.

 

Do you have pics of your setup? If you do send them to me and let me see what you got or post them to this. I have the EZ classic setup which I believe is the same as yours. I have the tube type slide in headlights w/the pump mounted to it. This comes off seperately from the plow. Is that the way yours is? I cant slide or take out my tube mount w/o using a sledge hammer. I have tried every lube I could and it still doesnt just slide in and out. Oh well, Let me know model # of your plow. Mine is an 8' commercial series and the model # is C-8. It should be on your plow somewhere. Let me know and I will try to help you find a cheaper mount for your truck.
