Default Parasitic Draw w/2nd battery

I thought I had the battery issue fixed with the glove box light. Went to bed, woke up next day and truck was dead!
Disconnected both batteries quick disconnects. Meter on 10amp reads .010... am I reading meter right... yes. Sit and think about it and realize when I left truck last, both batteries were hooked up. So I connect the negative terminal on passenger side battery. Leave volt meter in series on 1st battery, and the amp reading is 1.38! I started pulling fuses in engine bay and cab and no change, still 1.38.
i am going to the wiring diagram next, but any insight in what it may be?

Time to check the batteries. The fact that the current increased when the second battery was connected makes me think you're seeing current between the batteries, not current going into the vehicle. One bad battery can take the other one down.
