Transmission questions

I recently saved a 1995 1500 5.9l magnum from certain death. It came with a bad tranny. While roaming thru my local graveyard I found a 98 1500 with the 5.9l magnum. My question is will the transmission from the 98 work in my 95?? What are the differences in the transmissions??

Nope, one is electrical (98) and once is mechanical (95)

You need a 46rh trans. So, from something 95 or older.
