Heater core
So I'm sure I know the issue but I wanna be sure. So I have a 1999 Dodge ram 1500 5.2 V8. And for some reason when it's cool or cold outside a light fog or smoke will come out of the vents for awhile. Even if I dont have the heat on itll still blow the smoke out. And theres a slight film on my windshield. Now I assume this an issue with the heater core but I'm not 100 percent sure.
No the floorboard isnt wet at all which is weird to me cause I know when I helped my dad replace his the floorboard was soaked

95% chance of a bad core. It's probably seeping at a joint. When it fails, that's when you soak the carpet. Now, there's a 5% chance you have a loose hose connection and it's just seeping through from outside. Tighten the clamps. If it goes away, great. If not, you had to replace it anyway and only wasted a few minutes.
