Default Running rough after sitting for 1 year

Hello All !! New to this forum as well as the whole dodge experience ! Im the proud owner of a 2001 Ram 2500 V10 with 80,500 miles. I purchased it 1 year ago from a local college here in town and drove it to my friends property and parked it. Ran fine at the time. Periodicaly started it and towed my toy hauler around the property. Just registered and insured it and am driving it on the streets daily.
Ok, so it stalled out twice and started up fine but now seems to have a small miss or hesitations while idleing and / or driving. I notice small hesitations while in 3rd gear or Overdrive. Idles at 650 in park and 650 when it drive-No Change. Its filled with fresh 89 octaine. It didn't perform this way when first purchased. So before I start trying this and that and spending money I want to know what you guys think I should do? I assume it has an OBD input somewhere? Run the diagnostics? Should I just give it a tuneup? Plugs, wires, gas filter, airfilter? Or do yall think that its something else I should do first?
Anything will help. I work on all my own vehicles and not a stranger to fixing cars and trucks. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance !

Plug a scanner in and see if you get any codes. Could be bad gas or some critters got into the wiring

Pull the air filter and look for mice nest, they like to build they're home in there. Sometimes squirrels get in there too. Run some fuel treatment through it, and maybe some dry gas, ethanol is notorious for drawing moisture. Go a little heavy on the dry gas, and fuel treatment at first, drive it so it gets in the system and then let it sit to work, I like sea foam, but what ever works, they all seem to have the same chemical make up. I used sea foam in a bike that sat for two years, when I pulled the carbs apart 5 years later they were spot less. It ran like total crap for a week, and just got better after so I never bothered rebuilding the carbs. Only reason I opened them up was to rejet for the new exhaust.
Edit: obd connector is right at your knees when sitting in the driver seat.

Thanks. I popped off airfilter and didnt find any signs of a mice or squirrel nest. However, I did find a dirty air-filter. I sprayed a half bottle or carb and choke cleaner through the butterflies while at 2-3 rpm. It seems to run little better without aircleaner on. Its on my parts list for sure..

I would start with some Seafoam. I'd definitely do a tune up. NGK v-power plugs and NTK O2 sensor. You also may have a problem with the IAC valve.

Yes a full tune-up is in order as well as Seafoam.
Question: Is the IAC value something that gets cleaned out or just replaced?

**** I looked up the IAC on Ebay and found alot ranging from $6 to $60. Does anybody know which one works and last? Thanks*****

I would stick with Mopar, everybody seems to have trouble with aftermarket sensors (crank, cam, O2 for example). Plugs are personal preference, but I use plain old copper champion plugs. Got them in my 5.7, ran autolites before I didn't notice a difference. But what ever works.

honestly it might just be the gas, even if you filled it with new gas the old debris will still be in the tank no matter what you also might want to replace the fuel filter it could be getting clogged and just check all the sensors see if they are clean and working properly

Fuel filter is in or on the fuel tank. Stupid design. If I tore that much stuff apart, I would put a new fuel pump in.
