Working on my paps truck figuring out his wiring issue and I noticed something. With the key in the ignition (enough to activate the buzzer) and the door open if you go to lock them it will lock then unlock the doors. I'm curious to know if that's factory or from the alarm he had installed.

 

It's factory. I always assumed that it was meant to prevent a person from locking their keys in the truck.

 

That's weird because my 01 doesn't do that
