Default No reverse lights on standard 5spd

Past couple days I’ve been trying to figure out how to get my reverse lights working. The truck is a 99’ 2500 with a 5spd trans and is 4x4. I have tried to locate the reverse safety switch but seriously can’t find it (was able to find my buddy’s on his automatic that had the same issue). Does anyone know where it is located on a standard 5 speed?
If it’s not the switch then what else could be the issue preventing the reverse lights from working? I have power at the fuse box inside the cab and all other lights work.
Lastly is it a two prong or three prong plug? Same plug as the automatic or no?
thank you in advance!

Looks like the switch is on the drivers side of the trans, directly below the shift lever. Kinda mid-way down the side of the trans. I suspect it's only a two pin switch.
