Well I haven't had any takers yet. I have a small time dealer interested in my truck and he wants to buy it. The guy has always liked my truck and I think that he wants it for himself. He told me to tell him how much I want for it and I don't know what he will accept. Its kinda a tricky question. My payoff is around 8950 and I know that my truck only books (wholesale) for 5,500-6,000. But this guy likes it because all of the accessories so I may tell him 7000-7500. I was really stupid and refinanced my truck for 3000 more than I owed to help pay some bills and have some money.[:@] My payoff would be around 5000 now but its alright. I knew I would be upsidedown trading but I'm selling another one of my trucks (2000 Ford Ranger 4x4 low miles) and its gonna make up the difference and them some. I really hope someone snatches it up from me before I take this plunge.

 

I totally agree, I sure did miss my one of my old girlfriends and when i saw her with another guy, it was heartwrenching, but she came back a month later and I got to drive her one more time...lol...

Your price isnt to far off what they are going for, sadly if it was a 4x4 or a club cab it would sell faster. You should have started at a lower price with your $8950 as a reserve. Start it at like $500 but set your reserve price, gets people started on bidding or even looking at it. Most will see just your high price and will pass it by with out a second look. I only say this as advice from 4 years of selling on ebay, just trying to help you out. I would be very interested but it is just a standard cab like mine. Good luck!

 

depends on what kinda girl,,,, this one chick i dated...saw her with a new boyfreind.. and i was happy as can be..thinking quitley to myself... "that poor basterd is the one with the clap now... sucker" she was a ho... and i didnt mean any harm on the 40 year old remark... it was a reference piont,,,mainly b/c my old man is like 44 and needs his 22year old son (et' mois) (thats french for thats me) to go truck shopping with him... needless to say i learned all my auto skills from back issues of hotrod mag and spike tv... and just tearing into crap for the fun of it.

i think its a great price for that truck.... kelly blue book standings are an insult... i resent that my truck is only work like 5000 .. id slap a ho if someone came up to me and offered me 5000 for my truck... or id run them over with it.... when i was younger that was my biggest fear was going underneath when selling a car... mainly b/c thats how my aunt and uncle went bankrupt,, and its hard to clime outa that.... im scared to death of making a mistake with money.... anyway...

we should throw a going away part for her,,,,, ya know,,,, something small,,, casual dress,,bring a date,,, coctails and a small band,.,, everyone wear there dodge grab life my the horns hats,,, and ill wear my "dodge the father ram the doughter" boxers i got for xmass one year... grandma is a great gift giver.. hope the sale goes in your favor and i think your best desiscion in life was to sell that ford! just kidding,,, well,,kinda... anyway...

 

Yeah the selling the ford is a good move. You would be surprised at how much that little POS booked for...9,200!!! Thats wholesale! I was like WTF? Oh well, nothing like making money off a ford. That will be more money ford mods on my next truck. I'm still looking to get that reg cab off-road dodge that I told ya'll about a week ago. I think its still for sale. Its pewter (not silver, its darker) with tan interior[:@] but its only got 38k !! He's asking 12,500 for it but I may get it for 11,000-11,500. It also has the infinity sound system and compass instrument group. But knowing my luck the truck will be sold the day before I go to buy it.
