Default 1996 Ram 1500 SLT 2wd Tires

I have a set of Goodyear Wrangler 265 70R 16 tires and was wondering if these could be put on 1996 Ram 1500 SLT 2Wd Stock? I notice when looking up for new tires the largest recommended size is 245 / 75 R 16 so what will be the difference in these that I would need to be aware of?

Difference between those two sizes in heigth wise is barely noticable, just a little under 4 millimeters.

This thread is a month old, but FWIW I moved up from 255 70 16 Michelins to 265 a month ago. Love them! (truck bought new & v=came with 245's).

I quick search shows the different between those two sizes is minimal.
