That's purty. And you are going to and drop in a truck, and get it all dirty. Shame on you.

Is the large rubber washer for the oil drain plug?

Nope, it's def not for the oil drain plug. It's about 1.5" in diameter... any other guesses.. lol

Not an alternative for the distributor o-ring is it?

Aside from that, I have no clue. Don't think I have ever seen anything like that on my motor.
