Default Loud chirping when in 2wd

I have a 98 ram 1500 5.2 4x4. When in 2wd while driving I have a loud chirping noise that doesnt go away. When parked or idle it's gone. Driving in neutral the chirping noise is gone. My 4x4 doesnt work, any advice would be appreciated.

Start with u-joints, the rear driveshaft and the axle shaft joints. They all turn in 2wd.

How do you "drive in neutral?" I would replace ujoints.

Also, check the vacuum lines down to the front axle disconnect. If they break, no 4wd.
