Default 3.9 v6 to 5.9 v8 in a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd auto

Can I use a 5.2 v8 wiring harness for the swap or do I have to get a 5.9 v8 harness I already know I need a 2001 Dodge Ram 5.9 v8 ecu but I can’t find a 5.9 harness for sell anywhere just a 5.2 harness

I believe you can't use a 5.2 harness, but Jegs has a 5.9 harness you can buy

There is no difference between the 5.2, and 5.9 harness. The engines use the exact same sensors, in the exact same locations. There IS a difference over the model years. But, that's about it.

Sorry, my bad, i wasn't sure if the connectors would be the same.
