Which atf fluid and why would it matter after a full rebuild with new clutches, soft parts, and a reman converter Forgot to ask when I was at WIT.
I talked with the mgr of the local WIT and he talked me out of a hi performance kit. He said for my low mileage occasional towing use it would be a waste,. The guys wall is covered with ASE certifications and I believe he teaches at the local community college. He was very generous with his time.

Haha, fluid fluid. That's like the new diesels using DEF fluid, aka Diesel Exhaust Fluid fluid. I'm tired. Just had to joke around with the Automatic Transmission Fluid fluid. Although, it's technically oil. Carry on. . .

I rebuilt mine with a hi performance kit and Zip Kit for the valve body. I spent $1200 on parts. I still used the ATF+4. For me if it's getting replaced it's getting upgraded. I'll never use the performance rebuild, but if I do, I know it'll take the punishment.
