Default oil filter adapter torque spec

Hey fella's, can't find the torque specs in the FSM for the oil filter adapter specs. also, parts manual show a gasket, but when I pulled this, there was no gasket between the adapter plate and block.

what is the torque spec for the adapter and is there a gasket required??

thanks. this guy shows a gasket and also has no clue what the torque spec is, but he just tightened it.. lol

I would think they would want a gasket in there....... If you have a part number, get one.

For the 'lug' that the oil filter screws on to, I usually just use some lok-tite, and torque it to one grunt. So, tight, but, not head-bolt tight.
